Pastor Rudy Palacios Vargas was arrested in July 2025 alongside five others, including family members and church colleagues. No arrest warrants were shown. His only “crime”? Speaking out against government violence. Mauricio Alonso Petri, one of the friends of Pastor Palacios Vargas, has since died in detention.
We believe we know where they held, but no confirmation has ever been given.
